-:- finished acer

After blocking, my Acer was a bit bigger than I expected - especially in the arms - but still lovely to wear. I really need to sit down with Ysolda's book in a serious way to learn how to shape a sweater to fit my specific measurements. I bet blocking your gauge swatch helps keep sizing surprises to a minimum too! Overall, I'm really happy with it - I've been wearing it around the house almost constantly, trying to avoid puppy paws and kitty claws all the while.

  2. What?! I'm always so impressed with anything other than a scarf or hat...because that's all I can knit. It looks beautiful! Congrats on getting it done. I hope to pull off something like that one day. :)

    1. Oh, if you can knit scarves and hats, you can knit anything! The trick is to not think it's any harder to knit a cardigan and then just go for it - one stitch at a time! :)

  4. It DID turn out great (I had NO doubts). And I totally agree with your knitting advice to Julie (above) - one stitch at a time, one technique at a time - that's what I tell everyone too. It's really NOT that difficult...once you can knit and purl...you c an make anything. Love to you...sorry I am SO late with your letter. What a month it has been. xoxo
